DJing now for close on 10 years Aflickion has run the gambit of Dance Music. From the early days of commercial house on the Viaduct to the 5am sets in the dark clubs of K-Road.
It was whilst on a round the world trip the Aflickion found himself in Germany, listening to a genre of music that really captured something within him.
This genre was Techno; now before you tune out and think you know what Techno is…. you don’t.
This isn’t your stripped back, 124BPM, Techno that your grandma would be happy listening to whilst knitting a sweatvest for you. This is the big room, ass shaking Techno that has the sense of a plague of locusts attacking your eardrums in order to feast on your aural receptors.
The “Aflickion” Techno is one that has huge rolling basslines, and a seriously infectious groove.
