Trance Around the World (often abbreviated as TATW and also known as Trance Around the World with Above and Beyond) is the title of weekly radio show hosted by trance DJs Above & Beyond. The show takes the format of a two hour mix broadcast direct from Above & Beyond’s studios in London. There are approximately 21 million listeners who tune into the show weekly.
Above & Beyond rank among the world’s top 4 DJ’s according to DJ Magazine and are undoubtedly one of the dance scene’s leading-edge players.
Described by Pete Tong as the “UK’s trance superstars”, Above & Beyond were inaugural winners of Radio 1’s Essential Mix of The Year Award and were recently ranked 11th in Mixmag’s list of the best dance acts of the last 25 years. Their debut artist album ‘Tri-State’ was rated ‘Brilliant (5/5)’ by DJ Magazine and critically acclaimed as one of the stand-out electronic albums of 2006.
